The Swedish record label Pama Records is currently negotiating with Apple Computers Inc, concerning Pama Records possession of the web domain itunes.se. Apple is interested in taking control of the domain as they are preparing for the Swedish introduction of iTunes Musicstore.
The MD for Pama Records, Maxe Axelsson, is convinced that the parties will reach a mutually satisfying solution. The Pama Records controlled sites itunes- and Swetunes.se are planned to bethe base for a new mobile concept called “Rock the Phone“.
Rock the Phone is a software, which enables the user to manage ring tones, full music downloads, video and other digital medias. Rock the Phone, however, will work somewhat differently than just downloads – which is the current focus of most operators. Maxe Axelsson of Pama Records is the initiator of this project that is now evaluating partners and undergoing tests.
